This Engine Control Module (ECM) programming harness is to be used with any of our BenchForce™ PowerBlock switch assemblies to reprogram E39 / E39A ECMs outside of the vehicle.

OBD2 Switch Assembly Pass-Through Harness
ECU harnesses connect to the OBD2 switch assembly through a short pass-through harness. This E39 / E39A ECM programming harness requires a Pass-Through Harness. The BenchForce™ PowerBlock uses EFI# 100-01072. Pass-Through Harness sold separately.

E39 / E39A ECMs Contain Internal CAN Termination
This simply means that an external CAN termination resistor is not required and that the E39 / E39A ECM can be programmed on the benchtop with a direct connection to the OBD2 Switch Assembly using a Pass-Through Harness. The BenchForce™ PowerBlock uses EFI# 100-01072.
