WE REALLY WANT YOU TO CONSIDER THE HOLLEY HP OR DOMINATOR ECU

For the following reasons, we would rather you use a Holley HP or Dominator ECU:

  1. Terminator X ECUs do not support System Logs. What this means is that if you have any reason to troubleshoot a crank or cam signal, Holley's Terminator X software will not provide the oscilloscope-like signal waveform feature that is standard with HP and Dominator software. The Terminator X ECUs offer LED indicators that are of little to no help with crank and cam signal diagnostics. If you contact us to say that the Terminator X LEDs are reporting an issue with the crank or cam signal, we are both going to wish you had chosen an HP or Dominator ECU.
  2. Terminator X ECUs are plastic and not best suited for the engine bay. While Holley permits the use of the Terminator X within some engine bays, the plastic housing does not make these ECUs ideal for under hood temperatures. Consider an HP or Dominator ECU as their housings are aluminum and better suited for engine bay placement.

IMPORTANT! 1993-1995 LT1 engines will require a GM 1996-1997 LT1 timing cover or an EFI Connection billet aluminum timing cover. Timing cover not included.
